A question about photoshop Empty A question about photoshop

Hello everyone! I have been looking throughout the site, and I've been seeing some really nice fireworks in some of the cities that are not Maxis fireworks! I was wondering how you would photoshop those onto the pictures. I'm pretty good with Photoshop already, so I can probably do it if its complicated. Thank you!

I think most people use photoshop brushes.

Deviant art is a good place to get some nice ones - http://www.deviantart.com/#catpath=resources&order=9&q=firework+photoshop+brushes

It never even crossed my mind to use brushes!! I settled for some home made, stylised inkscape ones that didn't quite work!

Thanks for the tip off though!

Wait, I'm having a bit of a problem. When ever I download them, they dont show up in photoshop, not even the ones that are already out of the zip file. How do I download them? Is there anything I need? Thanks again!

Best bet is to search for a read me with the brushes you downloaded or search the net for a tutorial on how to install it took me a bit of trial and error to get brushes into GIMP

also make sure that Photoshop isn't running when your installing if it is you'll have to restart Photoshop. Hope I helped a bit.

Adam, if you open up photoshop, go to the brushes menu, and you should a panel that comes out from the top of the PS with the brushes on the bottom of that panel.

On the right side of that panel is a tiny circle with an arrow pointing right, click on that and there should be a menu that comes out. Go to load brushes and located your brushes and viola, there's your brushes Smile

Oh and make sure you unzip the brushes you download Wink
