Avatar Red X's

Whats up with the red X's in the avatars? I went to the day 13 thread and saw basically 9/10 people with them including me who didn't have that avatar I looked this morning at about 7 and everything was fine. so whats up with it? (Its news cuz it deals with the site)

OK looked at the memberlist, all but 6 who have avatars have red X's, Matt, Engorn, max, LeleOne and 2 others are all.

I experience the same problem too.

I'll have to dig into it lemme see if there's anything on the support forums as a warning

They work fine on AIN...

haha tried a new one giganticly oversized and well it worked

as to that yeah nothing on forumotions stuff and haven't noticed anything funky in my admin panel so I'm stumped

I can think of two things: maybe they all accidently got deleted?

Nothing was hacked.

I'll have a hunt round to see what the problem is. My hunch is it's just a little bug, give it 24 hours and it should be okay.

I didn't expect it was hacked just the next best thing my freshman brain could come up with.

Ok I looked at simmania and it probably is just a forum bug across the software. because simmmania uses the same software I'm pretty sure

Probably it's based on the avatar pic's format? PNG and JPG?

Alright, so our avatar database got corrupted somehow.

All you have to do is re-upload your avatar (clicky) and it'll display again for everyone else. Alternatively, you can use this as a good opportunity to change your avatar .

hmmm, well I just said something about red x's on avatars and used mine as an example so maybe towmorrow, anyway I might just stick with a red X, or else do SCRA logo for it. SCF1 too maybe.
