(edited myself for teh harshness)
wow that came out all too easy for a Celtic Fan lol

Celtic was out here as well they played the Union down in philly

and as a note thinking that Lucas Oil Stadium would work for the MLS is just plain stupidity. 1 the MLS has been on a kick to build their own stadiums. 2 Attendance at MLS games isn't evenm close to making renting that facility a worthwhile venture for a perspective owner. The 2nd NY MLS team would likely end up in Queens or Brooklyn as NY/NJ Red Bull opened their new stadium recently and seeing as it's called Red Bull Stadium I don't see them sharing lol.(note to self need to go to a game at RB Stadium(it's only a 30 minute train ride from my place))

Well, Lucas Oil would never work. Capacities for almost all MLS stadiums are between 27,000 (Home Depot Center, home of LA Galaxy and Chivas USA) to 36,000 (Qwest Field, home of Seattle Sounders FC).

Sometimes, in the case of the Seattle Sounders FC and Qwest Field, for example, the top bowl of an NFL stadium could be covered with tarp to decrease capacity and provide a better atmosphere.

PPL Park was made for fans, Qwest Field was made for the ultimate fans. We have bleacher seats (cheap!) for louder fans right behind the away goal during the first half! Then our supporters sit behind the away goal during the second half!

Response to list:

St. Louis - A.C. St. Louis (D2 Pro League), no need for MLS franchise, AC SL is new.
Ottawa - Too close to Toronto
Cleveland - Too close to Columbus
Cincinnati - Too close to Columbus
Louisville - No venue, no market
Indianapolis - No fan base
Atlanta - Failed several times with minor league franchises, too risky
Nashville - No fan base
Phoenix - No fan base

Fail canuck its been going for about 5-6 weeks :p

Prediction for the Cascadian Derby is:

Seattle 2-1. It's gonna be one hell of match. Unfortunately Jair Marrufo, is the referee for the match, and he has be suspended before for very poor officiating of games. I've seen him this year. Its really bad.... Expect a red card for sure Saturday night, if not two

I'm actually predicting a violent tie. Maybe Seattle might get it because they are at home and Portland has been bad on the road, but I don't see Qworst Field as a big factor in this one as Bruce says it is Razz
