we had it at one point there isn't much to it other than more days post main games for teh host to post of venue shots

but it could last 10 days in the host city of the simlympics 3 days after the Closing Ceremony of the Simlympics

Let me tell you why it doesn't happen. For the most part it's a lot of unneeded work. Hosting is pretty tough as is, and after 16 days and 2 ceremonies, the last thing a host wants is another 10 days to host. And that's the host, whoever manages the PAS points has to do a hell of a lot more work than that.

Speaking of PAS points who is going to send PAS points to the Parasimlympics? Not a whole lot of people. They care about the real deal. Think of real life where there's 70 or so nations in Paralympics. There's over 200 nations in the Olympics. Also most if not all of those nations are going to have some TV coverage which is pretty rare in Paralympics.

Just to throw a bit of information out there - I dug up my old bid - and yes there use to be a parasimlympics, and it appears it was actually a part of the regular simlympics. Infact.. the simlympic's have really grown up over 5 years.
