You mean the fire in Ηλία or whatever it was called right?
I was in the Fire of Chalkidiki like 3 years ago, we had just bought a new summer house when the fire started. Its so sad

Re: The Weather
Australia has been through its fair share of disasters, or near disasters this year. First the bushfires, then two earthquakes in Melbourne and now there is actually a tsunami warning for the east coast of the country, including Tasmania, Victoria and N.S.W.

Re: The Weather
Speaking of earthquakes, we had a 7.8 and a 6.1 aftershock down in Fiordland about 3 hours ago. That'd be the cause of your tsunami warning (Details)
How big were your quakes?

Re: The Weather
Meanwhile, in the grim north (well, East Midlands really) it's dry and sunny! Not very warm though. It's recently been raining ladybirds! They've been swarming in their thousands looking for places to sleep. Annoying as hell when the bumble into your face when you're riding your bike at 20mph.
Personally I love the first bite of winter. It's just a shame it doesn't get properly cold in the English lowlands... at least not with any regularity. I like wearing snow boots and big coats.
