welll not everyone can get a terrabyte HD in their computers I operate on a 120GB HD with 500GB Portables for extra space it'd be nice to have a tb but I can't afford that t the moment

Good question I think the Scandia fell due to issues within the membership that I'd rather not air out publically

Well, I use a laptop so it only has an 80GB HDD. Although I do have two externals each with 60gb in them and a 320GB HDD in my PS3 which contains all of my movies (Ripped from purchased DVDs, of course Wink

)

What ever happened to Northwest Airlines? Is it still possible to see planes in their livery or their logos at their hubs in Detroit (live around there), Minneapolis or Memphis?

They merged with Delta.

As K50 Said they Merged with Delta and all Planes are now in the new Delta livery the plan was to get all Northwest aircraft done first then on to the Delta aircraft so eventually(I think by the end of this year) all Delta Aircraft will be the new paint scheme.

The MacNamera Terminal was completely re-signed in 2009 to Delta and I think the hanger has been repainted(can't be sure on that went past it on Christmas day and have since forgetten)

Where do you live? I used to live in Canton,MI miss my home state of Michigan.

1. The full merger took effect in January of last year, all ex-Northwest aircraft are now in Delta's current scheme, weird seeing 747s, A320s and A330s in Delta livery as well as Saab 340Bs in the Delta Connection livery.
2. At the same time, the Minneapolis and Memphis hubs were rebranded, later that year the Tokyo hub was completely rebranded to Delta. Last time I drove by said hangar, there were Delta logos on it.
3. I live in Wyandotte, MI.

Worth noting that the McNamara Terminal currently only hosts two airlines other than Delta: Air France and KLM, both are also part of the Skyteam alliance. Most of the airlines at Metro Airport are housed in the North Terminal, which was built on the site of NWA's old terminal and replaced the Berry and Smith terminals.

Very well aware of all of that there(except the Hanger bit) fullgoldbatch I lived in Detroit then Canton,MI for 30 plus years I have friends that work at the airport and have flown in and out of it many many times.
